Jessie Schook

Jessie Schook is Greater Louisville Inc’s Manager of Education and Workforce Strategies. She has served in various roles within K-12 and post-secondary education including teaching, curriculum design and workforce readiness program development. In her current role she provides support to the business community as they collaborate with school systems and workforce training providers to build talent pipelines and support learners on their journey from classroom to career.   With a background in Cultural Studies, Jessie also works with stakeholders to support the international community in Greater Louisville and ensure that our city exemplifies a Welcoming Community. She earned a MA in Hispanic Studies at NYU where her research explored collective identity building in refugee communities. Jessie passionately advocates for Greater Louisville’s residents to have equitable access to opportunities. She is excited to support DDBS’s mission as she believes diversity in the workforce strengthens both our economy and our community.
