Hello my name is Kendra Flanigan I work with Humana Inc. as a Vendor Management Professional where I own and work diligently to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance. In this role I am the owner of the current/potential vendors and the organization day-to-day matters; where I support the Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Department under the umbrella of Enterprise Category Management Organization in supporting the organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. 

  

I have over 27 years of executive administrative support, Engineering and Architect Project Lead, project management/facilitation and consultancy experience.  I have been employed at Humana for a total of 13 years in various roles, supporting several organizations which include Finance, Medicaid, Medicare, Enterprise Consultancy, Finance, Enterprise Procurement, Inclusion and Diversity, IMPACT NRG Leadership Team, and most recently Supplier Diversity and Sustainably. Additionally I have been a Wellbeing Champion, Safety Coordinator, Metro United Way Ambassador and standing member of IMPACT NRG for Humana for 13 years and will continue to serve and support our team in these effort as Wellbeing and Mental Health are some of my many areas of passion to serve. 

  

Kendra resides in Louisville where she has two sons, one granddaughter and long standing life partner.  She earned her Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) and Corporate Communication (Training and Development) at Spalding University, and a Dual Master’s Degree in Business Administration & Leadership (Human Resources/Healthcare Management), Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness from Grand Canyon University.  Additionally she has received a certificate of completion for Business Administration & Leadership, Diversity, Internal and External Culture Connections from the Fund for the Arts NeXt Ambassador Program.  Her passions are spending time with her family/friends, traveling, and community service efforts with Humana as well as her sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
