Margye Solomon

Marjorie (Margye) Solomon brings over 30 years business development and relationship management experience to DDBS as VP of Business Development. Following 25 years as an executive in travel and tourism which included corporate travel agency ownership, management and consulting; general aviation; travel call center development and marketing; car rental corporate sales management; and, national corporate travel association board membership, Solomon’s second chapter landed her in women’s business advocacy. She served as Director of the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council (ORV~WBC), President & Founding member of the Cincinnati Chapter of Ellevate Network (formerly 85 Broads), Advisory Board member of Aviatra Accelerators (formerly Bad Girl Ventures) and a member of the City of Cincinnati Small Business Advisory Council. Before leaving Cincinnati for Philadelphia, Solomon graduated from the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce WE Lead program, was selected as an ATHENA International Award Finalist and was profiled in the Cincinnati Leaders issue of the Women’s Book. Her advocacy work has continued in Philadelphia. Solomon has successfully represented multiple WBEs in business development and relationship management through supplier diversity channels. She’s currently working with MWBE, She’s It, LLC (Social Health Empowerment thru IT) as business relationship director, affiliate program director and women in business SME; serves on the leadership team of the Philadelphia Chapter of Ellevate Network; served as co-chair of the Women’s March Diversity & Inclusion Group; serves as Committee Chair for the Toast To Tenacity event for Vision 2020 (celebration of the enactment of the 19th Amendment; and is a committee member of Wine, Women & Shoes 2019, a fundraiser for the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a contributing writer to Diversity Professional Magazine and SHEapp.
