2020 was a crazy year full of hardships and turbulent trials. The Derby Diversity & Business Summit faced its own trials, but in the end we made a PIVOT to go virtual and with the hard work and determination of our team and our partners, we managed to make it a complete success!

The mission of the Derby Diversity Business Summit (DDBS) is to drive innovative strategies to attract diverse consumers while promoting the utilization of best in class diverse business leaders within the Executive Workforce and Global Supply Chain and Sports.

OUR PURPOSE

DDBS has an international draw and exists to bring together the world’s top, diverse suppliers and executives - inclusive of ALL diverse groups (Minority, Women, LGBTQ, Veteran & Disabled) on a national scale to network, develop and enjoy the Derby.

By attending, guests will have the ability to participate in development seminars, panel discussions, and even hear from highly sought after speakers to share their experiences in the business world of Supplier Diversity & Diversity and Inclusion. Along with networking opportunities that will be available at the business sessions, guests will also have the chance to attend A-List celebrity events and the derby festivities with peers!

VISION

To accomplish our mission, each year, we host a Business Summit with the nation’s and diverse business leaders in Louisville, Kentucky, to create intersectional accessibility. We take a portion of the proceeds and identify projects in which we can provide funding that supports education, business development, and training initiatives for organizations committed to the advancement of Diverse Business Owners & Executives.

Derby Week in Louisville, Kentucky, is one of the premier hosting spots across the world. You will experience networking opportunities during the business sessions and also while attending A-List celebrity events and derby festivities.
